Haunted Lighthouse (DIY ShadowBox) Print
This Haunted Lighthouse was my project for this year’s Drawtober challenge that I co-host! The theme surrounded a “Haunted House” so I wanted to challenge myself and create an illustration with plenty of exterior/interior shots all in one! This has easily been my favorite creation this year and stands as a testament for my love of the Halloween season and everyone involved with Drawtober!
Creating prints of this piece proved to be an extra challenge because I had no idea what a “DIY” style print would look like. But after some tinkering and organizing, I finally have a shadowbox package ready to go!
The 4 Pieces included are 17 inches x 22 inches each. Some will require cutting down while others will remain as they are! This will require some work on your end so please understand this before you commit if you want your own shadowbox lighthouse! They will each
BEFORE YOU BUY!
You will need the following tools/supplies on your own:
Cutting tool (Exacto knife, utility knife, precision knife, or hobby knife)
Foam boards or cardboard to separate the different layers.
Double-sided tape or normal tape to paste the layers to each foam board separator
Some patience and precision are needed, as this is not a project that you can rush through!
Command Strips (but these are optional)
I will include an instruction guide along with each purchase and please DM us if you get stuck or need any help along the way! And if you end up completing the project or adding extras like lights, etc., please tag me @vonnart on IG so I can see the final results!
