Original: High Priestess
This drawing of a priestess in a fantasy realm was done last winter when I wanted to dive into a fantasy game that was over embellished and decadent. This character would be the near final stage in her “priest” class I imagined. For the inspiration, I ended up playing Final Fantasy XII Remastered and I wasn’t crazy about the game when I first played it as a teenager (and to be fair no game seemed as good as FFX at that time in comparison). But as an adult I LOVE the scenery, world, designs, creatures, and just overall look of this game. Everything is ornately textured with patterns or textiles. Shows me how much you can appreciate certain details at different ages.
I highly recommend playing this game if you’re looking for fantastical inspiration from either an aesthetic inspiration or world building!
